Tasty Dairy Specialities Limited (Kanpur, INDIA), founded in 1992 as a private limited company by Mr. Atul Mehra – a first generation far-sighted entrepreneur, is engaged in manufacturing of milk and milk based products. Starting with handling 200 liters of liquid milk per day, today we are handling 6 Lacs liters of milk per day and giving direct and indirect employment to people in and around Kanpur. The company has two manufacturing units, one at Panki Site – V, Kanpur and another at UPSIDC Industrial Area Jainpur, Kanpur Dehat.

The company has variety of quality dairy products under its umbrella which include Liquid Milk, Cream, White Butter, Pure Deshi Ghee, Milk Powder of different variants, Dairy Whitener, Milk Mix etc. These products are being sold to all nooks and corners of India under the company owned brand names “UJJWAL, SHIKHAR & VERIFRESH”. The company aims to cross a turnover of 300 crores by the end of 2012.

The idea behind the formation of this company was to harness the ample opportunities available in Dairy sector and exploit the abundant availability of quality raw material i.e. milk in and around the Kanpur. Unidirectional focus on maintaining quality and increasing productivity, helped company to add feathers in its cap which included “Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award (Commendation Certificate), 2007” and “National Productivity Award (Certificate of Merit) for the year 2005-06.
