The organization Tasty Dairy Specialities Limited is involved in doing its bit towards welfare measures for our society. Our commitment is reflected in our vision where we have expressed our desire to make

Our Managing Director is commited towards social service. He is project coordinator of “Pryaas (Project Requiring Your Association and Support)” a mission to help and lift the status of underprivileged of our society.

Our organization had started a project on drinking water. For which we have arranged dedicated water tankers through which safe and potable chilled drinking water is sent to the areas where scarcity of the water prevails.

Along with our regular business activities, locally we are running the following Social projects:

PRYAAS

Under “Pryaas”, we provide scholarships for the bright and needy wards of our employees, milk suppliers and needy people

Apart from this we also undertake the following:

• Distribute tea in winter season.
• Conduct AIDS awareness programme at our factory.
• Participation in Pulse Polio Immunization program.
• Arrange for free insurance for milk producers / suppliers  and their cattle.

Drinking water Projects

In this project, during summers we send our dedicated water tankers full with potable drinking water in the needy areas for free of cost.

Education and training

The staff are trained upon the latest technology on companies expenses under different training modules. New graduates of Dairy Technology from different institutes are given on-the-job training at our factory.

Company is also creating consumer awareness and educating the people on food safety through pamphlets and brochures distributed during the fairs and Kisaan Mela. We also conduct seminars for milk producers in order to educate them on various facets of milk production and cattle management. We educate them about the bad effects of Oxitocin injections and adulteration etc. We help our producers by giving them advice from veterinary doctors in case their animal falls sick.

Medical Welfare

Our organization in association with the Rotary Club of Kanpur Industrial has been taking part in Pulse Polio Campaign, Free Eye Check-up camp, Blood Donation Camps etc. Under the “Pryaas” which is the sole project of our Managing Director, we are trying at war footing to help out the people who cannot afford medical expenses in cases of emergencies.

Sports and leisure

This is something very important, which our organization takes care of. For the welfare of the employees and giving them relief from the monotonous job, once a year the management organizes sport event, debate competition, cultural programs etc. in which not only the employees and their wards but also milk producers, suppliers etc. participate. At the end of such function, the awards are distributed to lift their morale. At times during the lean season, family picnics are also organized. We also distribute gifts to the people on festivals like sweets and crackers on Deepawali.

Others

We are also involved in activities that can not be categorized in the above headings. Like, we distribute tea in winters to the general public of our industrial area. We distribute blankets and warm clothes donated by our staff to the poor people. In summers, we arrange for safe drinking water for general public in our industrial area.
